Transpak Corrugated Strapping Machines Product Line

Sal-Tech Easy Packaging in partnered with Transpak Equipment Corp., are driven with its goal to provide quality strapping machines to meet the different and distinct demands in the market launches its TP-702C, TP-702CQ and TP-702CCQ product line specifically designed for the corrugated packaging industry – which, as studies show, is viewed to have increased demands in the next years.

TP-702C is a corrugated strapping machine built with the advanced Siemens PLC, electronic controls, and proximity sensors, while the TP-702CQ, another strapping machine, is built with the TP-702C added with a 4-side squaring station, lastly the TP-702CCQ also built with TP-702C, is combined with a 3-side squaring station. All machines provide high-speed performance with a guarantee of reliability and stability that will lead to increased productivity and lessen cost and waste in production.

STEP TP-702C corrugated strapping machine is the base machine for this line and is a high-speed machine which can produce 33 bundles per minute on single strap, and 20 bundles per minute on double straps. Its features include: a robust and compact mechanical strapping head, it is designed with a PLC Control system by Siemens – a multiprocessor automation system for drive, control and technology tasks with high volumes and short cycle times, which offers top-level performance, flexibility and functionality for demanding mechatronic tasks. The model has a free access to strap guides which makes its operation easy, a hinged roller table, an auto strap ejector, patented jammed-strap ejection device, a full-width pneumatic press, multiple strap function, variable conveyor speed, a strap end ejector and an adjustable table height between 700mm and 1000 mm. The machine is also available in different arch sizes to accommodate varying sizes of corrugated sheets. This base model can be upgraded with a Siemens HMI – touch panel, a light tree alarm with low strap sensor, an adjustable backstop, a foot pedal switch, and a strapping cycle counter.

The STEP TP-702CQ corrugated strapping machine has all the features of the base model, except that it is designed with a 4-side squaring bundle control and an adjustable pressure on press and squaring to accommodate the aligning properly of each corrugated sheet bundle, hence maximizing productivity and lessening downtime. Its squaring bundle control removes the task of preparing or the bringing into line of the sheets that need to be strapped; apart from strapping bundles, also makes the sheets properly set together. This machine can strap up to 17 bundles per minute on single strap, and 13 bundles per minute on double straps. It can be upgraded with a light tree alarm with low strap sensor, an LCD display for squaring position setup and a foot pedal switch. Like the TP-702C, this model is available in different sizes to accommodate varying logistical needs for the corrugated sheets.

Lastly, the STEP TP-702CCQ corrugated strapping machine is automated which design is a combination of the features of the base line and the TP-702CQ. However, it is built with a 3-side squaring bundle control and an adjustable pressure on press and squaring, with the same purpose of the bundle control that the other model has. This model is the most efficient among its product line for it produces or has the capacity of producing 26 bundles per minute on single strap and 20 bundles per minute on double straps, aligning and strapping combined. The machines can be upgraded with a Siemens HMI touch panel, a light tree alarm with low strap sensor, a foot pedal switch and a strapping cycle counter. And like the 2 other models, it is available in different arch sizes for varying production demands.

These machines have fewer parts which makes this line easier and cheaper to maintain. An additional factor which makes Transpak machines more desirable than its competitors, apart from its being less expensive, is its two-year warrant on all its products to further provide not only quality machines, but also quality service.
