CONTENT WRITER

Content Writer Job Summary:
Our company is in need of a talented Content Writer to create compelling blog posts, white papers, product descriptions, social media content and web copy. We’re looking for someone who will help us expand our digital footprint and drive more value through online content. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of producing pieces that increase engagement and drive leads. This position requires a high level of creativity, as well as the ability to use data-driven insights to write better material. The successful candidate should also be detail-oriented and committed to meeting tight deadlines. Preference will be given to those with a strong writing portfolio, bachelor’s degree and relevant work experience.


Content Writer Duties and Responsibilities:
• Creating concise, eye-catching, and innovative headlines and body copy
• Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews and studies)
• Consistently brainstorming and collaborating with team for new ideas and strategies
• Researching markets and industries to compare and create content that is innovative and original
• Collaborating with campaign managers, creative team, and designers
• Writing a wide variety of topics for multiple platforms (website, blogs, articles, social updates, banners, case studies, guides, white papers, etc.)
• Write clear marketing copy to promote our products/services
• Proofread and edit blog posts before publication
• Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
• Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
• Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone)


Content Writer Requirements and Qualifications:
• Impeccable spelling and grammar
• A deep understanding of consumers and what motivates them online
• High comprehension of software like Microsoft Word and Google Docs
• Familiarity with keyword placement and other SEO best practices
• Some experience with online marketing and lead generation is a plus
• An understanding of formatting articles on the web
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Assists team members when needed to accomplish team goals
• Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
• Self-motivated and self-directed
• High school degree or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in creative writing, journalism, English, or related field preferred
• Three to four years’ experience writing for a large agency or corporation
• Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strict adherence to company policies and style
• Extensive knowledge of the company, brand, and product preferred
• Ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and be a problem-solver


Work Requirements:
• This is a home based job position
• Have a reliable internet speed
• Have a desktop or a laptop working at its best condition
• Preferrably can work between 1pm to 9pm
• Can work without destructions at home
